One World Week Forum Event: The Trade of Tears: Human Trafficking in the 21st Century
Human trafficking is not only illegal but ultimately a violation of human rights. Most frequently women are exploited by those who claim to have the power to offer them a better life. These women are forced to leave their families and homes often to live a life of prostitution or forced marriage.
