Day Symposium: Mario Vargas Llosa

Mario Vargas Llosa is one of the world's greatest contemporary novelists and a major public intellectual. In his seventieth year, a group of international scholars survey his work over five decades. An 'In Conversation' with Mario Vargas Llosa will be the closing event of the symposium.

The event will take place on Saturday 20 May between 09:15 and 20:15.

Speakers include: Kelly Austin (Chicago), Roy Boland (La Trobe), Deborah Cohn (Indiana), Clive Griffin (Oxford), John King (Warwick), Efrain Kristal (UCLA), Fiona Mackintosh (Edinburgh) and Michael Wood (Princeton).
