Professor Anthea Callen (Emerita Professor of Visual Arts, University of Nottingham) will speak on the relationship between art and medicine in the formation of images of the human body. She will be especially looking at masculinity and ideals of the male body, and the ways these were developed and changed in anatomical representations.

The event will take place on Wednesday 22 November between 12:30 and 14:00 in S0.98, School of Health and Social Studies.
