Bonfire and Firework Extravaganza

Fireworks at Kenilworth CastleOnce again fireworks and lights will bring the skies above Kenilworth to life as Kenilworth Round Table celebrate Guy Fawkes Night on Saturday 4 November with their 17th annual fireworks extravaganza.

The event has built up over the years to become one of the most popular public shows in the Midlands, with food stalls, wandering entertainers, and a music and light show as well as the fireworks. In recent years, more than 12,000 people have come to the event which takes place in the grounds next to Kenilworth Castle, where the display is set against the historic and dramatic backdrop of the castle.  Booking tickets at least a week in advance is recommended via the KRT website http://www.kenilworthroundtable.com to avoid entry queues.

The event will take place at Kenilworth Castle on Saturday 4 November 2006. Gates open at 5:30pm and the main display will take place at 7:00pm

The Kenilworth Round Table fireworks display has built up a reputation far outside Kenilworth, Warwick and Leamington. This year an enquiry has come from as far away as Rio de Janiero from someone who comes back especially over that weekend to see family and enjoy the show - as do lots of students who would normally be scattered around the country. This is why, for the first time, the organisers have decided to sell tickets via their web site.
