An Introduction to the PGDip/MA in Post-Compulsory Education

The PGDip/MA in Post-Compulsory Education (Higher Education) is a flexible course currently available free of charge to any University of Warwick staff member, who has successfully completed the Warwick Teaching Certificate (WTC), the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic and Professional Practice (PCAPP), or an equivalent, accredited, postgraduate award, and wants to further develop their teaching excellence.

The programme builds on the expertise gained from the WTC / PCAPP and moves the emphasis on towards the participant’s own research into higher education practice and the development of capabilities in analysis and evaluation.

This introductory session outlines the content and structure of both the PGDip and the MA programmes, whilst providing plenty of opportunities for questions about the courses.

The event will take place on Saturday 16 November from 12:30 until 14:00 in the Centre for Academic Practice Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, North Wing, University House.
