Passing On

Passing On flyerA theatre production exploring the issues faced by health professionals and relatives during end of life care is being performed in London from Saturday 29th – Monday 31st October.

'Passing On' is supported by the Institute of Health at the University of Warwick and is part of “Suspense 2011” – the London puppetry festival and will take place at the Rosemary Branch Theatre, London.

The production will be followed by a post show discussion with health professionals, social scientists and members of the company including University of Warwick academics. Professor Gillian Hundt from the Institute of Health, Dr Judy Purkis of Warwick Medical School and Dr Christine Harrison from the School of Health and Social Studies will be taking part in the discussion, exploring in depth some of the issues raised in the production.

Passing On has been created from real life stories and experiences of a person’s last hours of life in hospital – it has been created from verbatim text, edited by Mike Kenny and directed by Claudette Bryanston.

The performance is produced by Santé Theatre Warwick in association with Little Angel Theatre .
