Sloterdijk Workshop

It will start with a roundtable chaired by the Vice-Chancellor Nigel Thrift at which the STC Annual Lecture on Wittgenstein and Ethics that Peter Sloterdijk is going to deliver on 21 May at 17.00 (H0.52) will be discussed. Sessions of the workshop include Philosophy as a Kind of Writing, Spheres and Spaces and Sloterdijk and Nietzsche. Speakers include guest speakers Robert Halsall, Robert Gordon University Aberdeen, Efrain Kristal, UCLA and Ivan Soll, University of Wisconsin, Madison and from University of Warwick Keith Ansell Pearson, Michael Bell, Miguel de Beistegui, Robert Fine, Steve Fuller, Michael Luntley (TBC), Ralf Rogowski and Charles Turner.

The workshop is part of events organised on the occasion of Professor Peter Sloterdijk’s stay at Warwick as guest of Warwick’s Social Theory Centre and as Fellow of the Institute of Advanced Studies.
