Cov Cool Kids take to the stage
Over 3000 children
from 21 Coventry schools have been gracing the stage of Warwick
Arts Centre as the Cov Cool Kids performing arts project comes to an end with theatre,
dance and music.

Following on from yesterday's power cut, all power has now been restored to Warwick Arts Centre and today's performances will all run as scheduled.
Warwick Arts Centre: Cancelled Performances
Unfortunately, due to a fragile power supply the performances of Soweto
Gospel Choir in Butterworth Hall and James son of James in the Theatre
this evening Wednesday 27 February 2008 will be cancelled.
All films will be shown as scheduled and the reading by Wendy Cope will take place in a venue on the University campus, to be confirmed.

Mead Gallery Opening Party for Latest Exhibition - Girl Rider
For their current commission for the Mead Gallery, Cullinan + Richards have developed a new installation which continues to investigate the relationship of sculpture and painting to a performance event.
Opening Party will take place on Friday 11th January between 18:30 and 20:30. All welcome.

Engineers Find Stressful Way To Produce Artwork
Civil Engineers Dr Wanda Lewis and John Brew have found a stressful way of producing original artwork. The images are known as the ‘Stress at Work’ range due to the way they are produced. They are derived from engineering calculations and are colour-coded plots of stresses and strains.
Student Folklore Transforms into Edinburgh Performance
Love and Other Human Tragedy, the student produced folktale book, has been transformed into physical theatre and will soon be presented at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Launched last May, the first ever University of Warwick student book retells tales that once upon a time came from lands far far away from here.
