Warwick Skills Certificate

Don't forget its not too late to enrol for modules for the University of Warwick Skills Certificate. This qualification is designed to help you develop your competence, confidence and credibility in a range of essential graduate-level skills. You can choose from a range of modules including communication skills, career management and enterprise skills. New modules introduced this term include:

  • Presentational Statistics (Tuesday evenings from week 2) - ideal for anyone, but especially social scientists who need to present numerical information in a user friendly way.
  • Essential Research and Information Skills (Monday evenings from week 3) - make sure you can locate, assess and evaluate information effectively and gain the competitive edge in your studies.
  • Learning, Working and Living with the Internet (Monday evenings from week 3) - from blogging to webpage design, get some practical hands-on experience of using web-based IT systems
  • Academic Writing (either Wednesday or Friday afternoons from week 3) - a key skill for students of all disciplines, make sure you maximise your effectiveness in essay writing
