Warwick Skills - Professional Development or Fun?

Originally Published 15 October 2003

This year the Warwick Skills Programme is offering more weekend workshop modules. Have a look at the following general interest workshops which as a University member you can come to for free.

Professional or Personal Development

Mentoring Skills - for anybody who has pastoral responsibilities, or who is working as a volunteer mentor in the university, in a school or in the community.

Friday 24 October 18:00 - 20:00
Saturday 25 October 10:00 - 16:00

Be warned this course has limited spaces.

Leisure and Fun

Acting-up - an introduction to acting. This was very popular last year and is definitively suitable for beginners. If you are interested in the theatre or drama as a member of the audience - why not have the whole new understanding that comes from experiencing the actors perspective.

Friday 31 October 18:00 - 20:00
Saturday 1 November 10:00 - 16:00

There are also a few places left on the very popular Creative Writing weekend and - in the Spring - the Drawing the Right-brain Way workshop.

Email k.sanderson@warwick.ac.uk for details of these programmes or to apply for a place.
