£1.3m doctoral scholarships in Global Sustainable Development for UK & EU students

The next generation of global sustainable development researchers is set to emerge thanks to a new kind of ‘transdisciplinary’ PhD programme at the University of Warwick for UK and EU students — made possible by £1,350,000 from the Leverhulme Trust.

Involving parents and carers is key part of successful careers guidance, new report reveals

The role of parents and carers in providing careers guidance and how they can be better supported, a new report from Warwick's Institute for Employment Research, presents evidence from the UK and abroad to make the case for strong relationships between schools and homes when it comes to careers advice and guidance, and highlights practical ways parents and carers can get more involved in helping their children think about careers.


Ventilators, visors, volunteers and testing - More than a dozen more ways Warwick staff & students are helping respond to the pandemic

I promised to come back to you soon to tell you about even more about the work of many more of our dedicated staff and students I these challenging times and today I am keeping that promise. Here many more ways in which our students and staff are helping from ventilators, visors, and volunteering to helping produce more COVID-19 testing ,and providing online computing experiments for primary school children now learning at home.

In many cases we can’t name the individuals as we want to leave them in peace to get on with their work but where we can they are named below.

EUTOPIA already co-teaching European PhDs as Erasmus+ project commences

EUTOPIA, a next-generation teaching and research community of six European universities, which was successful in its selection to be part of the Erasmus+ ‘European Universities’ Programme this year, officially begins its project today, 1st December 2019.
