Four University of Warwick academics have won Philip Leverhulme Prizes in the 2017 awards round.
Technical staff at UK and Ireland universities will be celebrated at the national Higher Education Technicians Summit 2017 (HETS 2017) – hosted by the Midlands Innovation Universities, in partnership with the Science Council – at the University of Warwick this May.
Professor Greg Challis, from the University of Warwick's Department of Chemistry, is the Royal Society of Chemistry Interdisciplinary Prize winner for 2017.
Professor Laura Green, Head of the School of Life Sciences at the University of Warwick, has been shortlisted for an Innovator of the Year award from the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC).

Submissions are now open for The Sunday Times / Peters Fraser + Dunlop Young Writer of the Year Award 2017 – now in association with the University of Warwick – with organisers issuing a broad call for entries to the prize, which rewards the best work of fiction, non-fiction or poetry by a British or Irish author aged 18-35. Self-published authors in particular are being encouraged to apply.
