Warwick named in UK top 10 and World top 80 by Times Higher Education

University of WarwickThe Times Higher Education’s (THE) World University Rankings 2022 has today, 2nd September, named the University of Warwick as one of the UK’s top 10 and the world’s top 80 universities.

Placed 9th in the UK and 78th in the world by THE, the news follows soon after the 2021 National Student Survey (NSS) placed Warwick third in the Russell Group, and 13th in the UK, for Overall Satisfaction and the 2022 QS World University Rankings seeing Warwick rise to 61st.

Commenting on the THE’s World University Rankings 2022 the University of Warwick’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Stuart Croft, said:

“I am delighted that the tireless dedication of the Warwick community over the last year has been globally recognised. During a time of uncertainty in the world, our community has continued to deliver world-class teaching, support our city during its year as UK City of Culture, undertake vital research to tackle the challenges that face us all, amongst many other things.

"Many congratulations to everyone for these remarkable achievements – and thank-you for all you have done for our community.”
