Youngsters limber up for the University of Warwick Summer Camps

Just as Wimbledon draws to a close next month, youngsters across Coventry and Warwickshire will be warming up to hit the tennis courts at the University of Warwick Summer Camps.

During July and August the University is offering Mini Tennis Camps for children aged eight years and under, and Tennis and Climbing Camps for those aged between eight and 16 years.

Children taking part in the Mini Tennis Camps will get to use top quality facilities at the University’s Indoor Tennis Centre on Westwood campus.  For those signed up to the Tennis and Climbing Camps, they will spend half a day at the Tennis Centre, and half a day at the Bear Rock Indoor Climbing Centre on main campus.

The Tennis and Climbing Camps cost £30 per day with a discount for a week block booking. The Mini Tennis Camps cost £20 per day with a discount available when any three days are booked in the same week.

Places on the camps are limited, to find out more and to book, visit www.go.warwick.ac.uk/tenniscentre or call Penny Garbutt on 02476 150687.
