Expert seminar series
Earlier in 2019 we ran 'The Children of Colossus: A human story of cybernetics'. This was a series on the cultural and intellectual history of cybernetics. It ran over 10 weeks and each sessions was delivered by Professor Colin Williams.
Supporting early career researchers
We offer travel fellowships to early career researchers, to allow them to attend and present at conferences and events. We can also offer mentorships and facilitate links with other academics.
Networking meetings
We will offer forums for academics and students to work together to develop bid development and creating investigator-led proposals. Please get in touch if we could help organise an event for you.
Visiting academic fellowships
We offer support for short-term visits from academics, government employees and industry professionals to come and experience Warwick and share cyber knowledge and expertise.
Distinguished speaker events
Last year the Cyber Security GRP welcomed Turing Award winner Dr Whitfield Diffie to speak at the University. We will have more high-profile speakers coming up. See our calendar for our latest events.
Cross-departmental events and workshops
We work across University departments to run joint events and workshops. Cyber security is a cross-cutting area which benefits from a multidisciplinary approach.
