Professor Simon Caney will give the Annual Lecture and will speak about Poverty, Inequality and Justice: Development in a Climate Constrained World.
Simon Caney is Professor of Political Theory at the University of Warwick. He has written extensively on global poverty, global distributive justice, human rights, sovereignty, global governance, self-determination, war, humanitarian intervention, and legitimate ways of resisting global injustice. He is currently completing a book entitled "On Cosmopolitanism: Equality, Ecology and Resistance (Oxford University Press)."
