What is WUSAT?

The University of Warwick Satellite Engineering Team designs, builds, tests, launches and operates low-cost nano-satellites to meet the requirements of a defined mission. The WUSAT programme was formed in 2006 by Dr Bill Crofts when the first WUSAT team was immediately appointed by the European Space Agency as the primary Electrical Power Supply subsystem team for their ESMO satellite (see our missions).

WUSAT teams have continued to engage in high-level Space work from the first inception of the WUSAT programme.

Our aims are, primarily, to give our 4th year student engineers a dynamic, exciting, instructional experience in how to manage and succeed in a complex engineering team project that must meet the stringent needs of a range of end-users.
