Copy of Supporting Talent
We support, foster and showcase the talent and ambition of all our researchers.
At Warwick, we launch the global research stars of tomorrow. We are committed to appointing and developing the world's best academics and nurturing talent in a highly supportive environment.
We offer a wide range of postgraduate research degrees and our PhD students are supported in a thriving dynamic environment. Our PhD students play a crucial role in our research community, and we equip them with a wide range of research skills, as well as in-depth knowledge, understanding and expertise in their chosen subject.
We also offer unrivalled support for our early career researchers through dedicated fellowship and training schemes. All researchers have access to high quality support for research funding, ethics, integrity, management and development.
Our researchers are supported by a promotion process that recognises the importance of contribution across the full range of academic activity. This includes research, teaching, impact, outreach and public engagement.
We also recognise and support the key contribution our technical staff make towards Warwick’s research, ranging from maintenance of essential infrastructure to management of world class research technologies. Warwick is part of the sector leading TALENT project, which is advancing the status and opportunity for technical skills, roles and careers in UK Higher Education.
Further opportunities are available via our TechNet web pages, which also outlines our institutional Technician Commitment.
