Mr Tony Ageh OBE

Tony Ageh heads up Archive Development for the BBC, having previously been Controller at BBC Internet, where he lead the team that originally devised the iPlayer.

As the Controller of Archive Development, Tony currently works with expanding the BBC programme archive and pushing forward the BBC’s vision of the Digital Public Space.

Tony was also one of the main leads on the BBC and Arts Council England‘s hugely respected The Space portal, which was devised to provide access to arts content on demand.
