Re-Sit Examinations: Charges

Boards of Examiners may recommend that candidates re-submit assessed work or re-sit examination papers (n.b. "re-sit" means a second and normally final attempt, for a capped maximum mark of 40% at the undergraduate level and 50% at the Postgraduate level). In such cases a re-examination fee will be charged. In 2017/18 charges are as follows:

 

First Degrees

Undergraduates re-submitting or re-sitting one or more modules in September

MA/MEd/MSc re-submitting or re-sitting one or more modules in September

Any resit examination retaken abroad*

(includes the flat-rate resit fee of £71/£77)

First- year resit examinations are normally held during the first full week of September.
