Not sure where your money is going?

Try filling in an expenditure tracker for a week or two. Record everything that you spend, even if its only a small amount. This way you should get a good idea about what and where you spend your money and how often.

Can’t live without it? Find a way to do it cheaper!

We all need to treat ourselves once in a while but there is no reason why it should cost you the earth. Think creatively about how you can save money on your favourite things. For example, why not invest in a thermal cup and make that cup of coffee before you leave the house? As a student you may qualify for a reduction in price on many different things from haircuts to electronics, so it’s always worth asking! Use the internet to search for discount vouchers, special offers and to shop around for the best price. These small savings can really add up!
