Off Campus Accommodation Update

Dear student,

As you are aware, in order to help mitigate the impact caused by COVID-19 the University has announced it will be suspending non-essential services on campus.

Although some of you may decide to leave your off campus property, we will continue to support and deliver services. We are having to implement new ways of working, due to government advice on maximising the number of staff working remotely and on protecting individuals who are most at risk.

Do please bear with us while we focus the next few weeks on those most pressing of issues, and thank you for your patience and understanding.

If you do leave your property then please, in the interest of health and safety, leave the property clean and tidy and ensure all perishable food is removed from cupboards and fridges. You should also ensure that you remove all valuables, secure all windows and doors and that refuse is removed.

You can take your keys with you so that you can easily return at a later date should you wish. If you do not return to your accommodation then we can accept keys via drop box or mail to;

These must be returned by the date that your contract is due to terminate, noting that the early return of your key does not relinquish you from your off campus accommodation contract. Do not include the address of the property with the keys if you are posting them. Your student ID, name and contact details will be sufficient. Please find details with regards to permanently vacating you property via the Off Campus Residences Handbook which can be found via this link:

If you are returning to the property for the next academic year, please note that items left must be clearly labelled and will be left at your own risk.

If you have any questions, please contact your Property Manager. You will of course appreciate that we are experiencing a very high volume of enquiries and that there may be a delay in our response.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and we hope you and your families stay safe and well at this worrying time.
