When to Apply
If you have an offer of study from Warwick starting in the Autumn Term, you should apply for accommodation by 19 August 2025.
We will do our best to accommodate you where possible however rooms are offered subject to availability. Once you have applied for accommodation, you should hear from us about your accommodation by email in early September. If you have an offer of study from Warwick starting in the Spring Term, you should apply for accommodation in Term one and ensure you select the '2025/2026' academic year when applying online.
Once you have applied online, you should hear from us about your accommodation by email in December 2025.
How to Apply
We want you to have the best possible experience when applying online with Warwick Accommodation.
Follow the 7 steps below by clicking the arrows or numbers for help navigating through our online application process.
Applications are now open.
Step 1
Click the 'apply for accommodation' button below and log in to the accommodation hub.
You should select the 'Prospective Students' option and register/log in with your Warwick ID number and password.
Once registered and logged in please make sure you have selected the correct academic year (2025/2026).
You will need to click 'Create Application' and then select the 'Student Mobility' application type from the drop down options.
Step 3
You now need to answer some profile questions for us to better understand your habits and hobbies.
This information is used to allocate you to a particular flat/corridor closer to move-in time if we have availability on campus and can offer you a room through our ballot process.
Step 4
Now you'll need to confirm whether you have specific accommodation requirements for any medical or disability needs you may have.
If you have specific accommodation requirements, don't forget you'll need to ensure you follow the relevant process and get supported by Wellbeing and Student Support by 8 August 2025.
Step 5
You'll then need to select your accommodation preferences. You have to choose seven options and list them in order of preference.
Please carefully read through the information provided at this stage as it will outline any limitations to bear in mind when selecting your accommodation preferences.
Step 6
After you have confirmed your accommodation preferences you will be shown a summary of your application details.
Please carefully check your application details, including your accommodation preferences and their order are correct, before submitting your application for accommodation.
Step 7
You should receive a confirmation email containing your application details within 12 hours after successfully applying online.
We advise to check your emails including your spam/clutter/junk inbox to ensure you have received your confirmation email.

Frequently Asked Questions
Subject to availability of rooms, applications from visiting or exchange students are usually allocated through a computer ballot that will take place after 19 August 2025 for those starting in the Autumn term. This will determine the accommodation we are able to offer students.
Whilst your selected campus residence preferences are taken into account, there is no guarantee that you will be allocated to one of these.
In the event we experience high demand, it is likely that you'll be offered partnership accommodation, but this is not guaranteed.
Incoming visiting or exchange students coming to Warwick are not guaranteed accommodation, however we will endeavour to offer university-allocated accommodation to as many students as possible.
University-allocated accommodation includes both rooms on campus and rooms in our partnership accommodation.
If you have an offer of study from Warwick starting in the Autumn Term and you successfully apply for accommodation by 19 August 2025, you should hear from us in early September. If you have not heard anything from us by 8 September 2025 you can email accommodation@warwick.ac.uk.
If you have an offer of study from Warwick starting in the Spring Term and you have applied for accommodation, you should hear from us in December 2025.

If we are able to offer you a room on campus, your contract let length will be for the time you are here at Warwick. If you have an offer of study from Warwick and are only here for one or two terms, we will provide you a contract, removing the term(s) that you are not enrolled at Warwick.
In the event you are offered a room in partnership accommodation, your accommodation contract will be arranged directly with our partner providers. They'll be in touch to confirm the contract let length available and will arrange your accommodation with you directly.

You should ensure you are supported by Wellbeing and Student Support by 8 August 2025. We advise you submit any medical evidence in advance of this deadline to ensure there is enough time for it to be assessed.
In addition to getting supported, you'll also need to apply for accommodation and confirm within your application that you have specific accommodation requirements and you agree to follow the process to get supported. We work closely with Wellbeing and Student Support to check specific requirements and room allocations are suitable should you be allocated to a residence on campus. Students who are supported for specific accommodation requirements will be prioritised for an offer of accommodation on campus, if needed, however this will be subject to availabillity.
In the event we are unable to offer you accommodation on campus or with our partner providers, may need to look for private accommodation off campus. Warwick Students' Union Advice Centre offer free, professional and confidential housing advice and can help with house-hunting and checking your tenancy agreement as well as offer guidance after you move in if you need help with repairs, landlord disputes, security or recovering your deposit.

If you accept an offer of accommodation on campus, your accommodation fees will be added to your Warwick student account.
