What's coming next for the ITLR
ITLR close to completion
The ITLR is approaching the 90% completion mark and it is expected that by the end of May, 33 out of 38 reviews will have concluded Review Visit 2, the in-person quality-enhancement focused meeting that marks the end of the review process. Once this meeting has taken place, the Secretariat and the Panel Chair engage in report writing, and have four weeks to turn in the Review Panel Report to EPQ.
What happens after the Review Panel Report is submitted
Upon receipt of the Review Panel Report, a moderation process begins. The ITLR Team will be ensuring that standards have been applied consistently across the 38 review panels, and it is expected that a small number of required actions will be handed over to AQSC for action planning. Departments and Clusters will be invited to provide a written response to the Review Panel Report, which may involve providing clarifications or further factual information. The steps of this process are outlined in the image to the right.
ITLR and Warwick Education Conference 2023
The ITLR Project Team have been working with the organisers of the Warwick Education Conference to feature some of the insights that have surfaced during ITLR 2023 as part of this year’s conference.
If you have not signed up yet, please join us on 22nd June at the Ramphal Building to exchange knowledge and experience.
In addition to the Conference, there will be a warm-up session taking place the week before, Online keynote - Exploring new and joyful relationships with assessment for staff and students, Dr Jan McArthur, on Thursday 15th June 2023, 1pm – 2.30pm.
