Who are QAA?

The Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) is the national agency which audits institutional processes concerned with the standards and quality of UK higher education. It is an independent body funded by institutional (university and college) subscriptions and through contracts with the main funding bodies for higher education in the UK.

Warwick is subject to QAA audits and reviews. The next institutional review will take place in Spring 2013. Our previous most recent Institutional Audit were in 2008, and in 2004. QAA also carried out an audit of Warwick Manufacturing Group's collaborative courses with Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2007 and an audit of oversees provision relating to the University of Warwick, the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech) and the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) in 2010/11.
