Different mark scales apply to different groups of students, depending on whether you are an undergraduate or a postgraduate, and on when you first registered - that is, when you joined the course. The majority of current undergraduate students will have joined Warwick in autumn 2008 or later, but older mark scales for UG courses are included below for reference.
Which mark scale applies?
For the following groups of undergraduate students, the mark scale to be applied is that which was in force as at the date the student first registered on the course:
- 2+2 students. i.e. the mark scale in force as at the date the student commenced the first year of their course with the partner institution;
- Students who have temporarily withdrawn from an Honours degree;
- Students who withdraw from an Honours degree course and restart on the same course.
For students who withdraw from an Honours degree course and restart a different Honours degree, the mark scale to apply is that in force as at the date the student first registered on the new Honours degree course.
