Module content and teaching
The aim of the module is to provide students with a thorough grounding in the intermediate and more advanced principles of microeconomics and exposure to a range of application of the theory.
Principal learning outcomes
Applied material is an integral part of the module and applications involve the use of the theoretical toolkit as an interpretative framework for positive and normative material. By the end of the second year, students should have a solid grasp of the theoretical material and a demonstrable ability to select and apply an appropriate model to a given microeconomic problem.
