Module content and teaching
Principal aims
The module aims to provide students with a solid foundation in the study of second language acquisition, familiarise students with the description of languages of the world, and provide students with a solid understanding of the relationship between languages and thinking.
Principal learning outcomes
By the end of the module, the student should be able to describe and discuss theory and evidence in second language acquisition research, and describe and discuss linguistic diversity and linguistic relativity.
