Module content and teaching

Principal aims

The educational purpose of the module is two fold i) to develop core module content in a specific context and ii) to provide an inter-disciplinary view. In this module students will have the opportunity to understand how various courses they have been exposed to on the MBA can come together; how these may overlap and in some areas clash over some aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Through this process students will gain a more rounded view of mergers and acquisitions than is possible by a single discipline. It will also illustrate in more general terms how MBA students can integrate their learning on various courses for the purposes of understanding specific phenomena.
