Principal aims

To establish how the various characteristics of service processes influence design decisions

Principal learning outcomes

Subject knowledge and Understanding: Demonstrate an understanding of process and supply chain design; Appreciate the impact of customer/market requirements on process design; Understand the value of process mapping. Subject Specific/Professional Skills: Evaluate the effectiveness of design decisions; Apply appropriate solutions to workplace challenges: Cognitive Skills: Critically analyse the interrelationships of process flow objectives.
