Principal aims
This is a compulsory three-day seminar held each Easter, traditionally in Paris, during which you will follow a programme of study designed by the Year Abroad Coordinator. The seminar aims to provide a forum for discussing your experiences of your compulsory year abroad. Through group work and case study sessions you will demonstrate a critical awareness and understanding of the major issues and problems associated with business in your chosen country.
Principal learning outcomes
By the end of the module you should be able to: demonstrate a critical awareness of a chosen topic relevant to the country/region in which the year abroad is spent; reflect critically on business and social issues experienced during the year abroad.
