Principal aims

The School has the power to approve a half-module dissertation.

Principal learning outcomes

The idea is to permit students individually to follow up a particular research interest, building on modules already taken or bridging the other final year modules.

Timetabled teaching activities

The main supervisor shall be available to give the student the equivalent of 2œ hours supervision.

Other essential notes

This half-module may be taken in either the First or Second Term of 3rd or 4th year of study. This half-module is only available to students who have achieved 2(i) marks in all of their Second Year (LLB) modules. Acceptance for this module will be confirmed after the Second Year Examination Board has met.
