Module content and teaching

Principal aims

The primary aim of this module is to extend your C programming skills beyond the level of the second year C Programming (PX270) module and to show how you can use your programming skills to enhance the speed and efficiency with which you can process your data.

Principal learning outcomes

At the end of the project you should be able to: write structured programs in C; solve real physics based problems; see how individual routines link together to form a sophisticated programme; appreciate how computers can be used to solve physical problems and the limitations of those computational solutions.
