Susan Vollmer BA (Hons), AFHEA, MSc

In my current role as a Learning & Digital Content Officer I plan, create and edit digital content for Student Opportunity (SO). My role involves:

- Proactively managing a schedule of digital content including setting priorities and agreeing timescales.
- Editing content by using the necessary tools Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.
- Being creative in the design of digital content ensuring it is appropriate for the audience, the department and the University.
- Sourcing and creating assets to enhance content and make any editorial decisions.
- Project managing the creation of learning content for use in Moodle courses and other platforms.
- Managing SO's external facing YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/careersandskills
- Generating digital content for the SO's social media platforms, including liaising with colleagues across the Centre, researching developments in the sector, authoring and commissioning content.
