Where to park: our signage system

Central Campus fills up first and fast on a daily basis during term time (with the exception of blue badge bays which are available across Central Campus). To forewarn drivers, we have campus parking information signs in place on the approach roads.

These signs are an interim measure that manually re-create the real-time parking signage we aim to install in the future. They advise drivers approaching from all directions when Central Campus is full, indicating alternative parking at Westwood (for all) and Lynchgate (for staff permit holders). They also direct reserved visitors and disabled drivers to appropriate parking even when the rest of those car parks are full.

When the signs are changed, we also update the warwick.ac.uk/carparks homepage so you can check online.

We intend to add signs that offer a similar service for Gibbet Hill parking in the near future.

If notified Central Campus parking is full, please proceed directly to alternative parking:

Lynchgate Car Park

Staff permit holder parking is available at Lynchgate. Please use Lynchgate if you are a staff permit holder based on Central Campus and approaching campus from the A45 direction. When Central Campus parking is full, staff permit holders should proceed straight to Lynchgate car park instead of circling Central Campus.

Milburn House Car Park

Permit holder parking is available through the barrier at Milburn House and often has spaces available later in the day.

Westwood Campus

There are multiple parking areas for permit holders and pay and display users on Westwood that tend to fill up later in the day than Central Campus.
