The Chaplaincy Reference Group (CRG) provides a space for debate, reflection and accountability for the University of Warwick’s Chaplaincy. Its advice is taken seriously, with its recommendations clearly and carefully considered by the Chaplaincy Team and Director of People Group.
The CRG is made up of:
- Vice-Chancellor’s Nominee: Chair
- Director of People Group
- Director of Wellbeing
- Academics with a faith interest – co-opted on by the group: up to 3 members from the University and up to 2 from outside of the University. Initial term of 1 year with an option to extend by a further 2 years by mutual agreement.
The Reference Group is supported by the Chaplaincy Coordinator who acts as Secretary to the Group.
CRG seeking Academics with a Faith Interest
The Chaplaincy Reference Group, which meets three times a year, is seeking ‘academics with a faith interest’ and would be delighted to discuss a possible role with academic staff who might be interested in joining. In particular, the group would welcome hearing from academics who have a personal faith and/or academic interests in faiths outside of the Abrahamic traditions.
Further details of the CRG are found in its Terms of Reference which can be viewed via the link on the right.
