Summer 2015 Holiday Scheme

The Summer Scheme is open to primary school children aged 5 - 11 years, who may be children and dependants of University staff and students, partner organisations on campus and the University of Warwick Science Park and children attending local schools in Coventry and Warwickshire. It will run from 27 July until 28 August excluding the bank holiday, 31 August.

What will the programme be like?

The aim of the Summer Scheme is to offer an inspiring range of educational, cultural and sporting activities to challenge, entertain and enthuse; develop children's knowledge and skills and utilise the fantastic resources available on campus. The diverse programme will contain a balance of physical and creative/intellectual activities every day, as well as plenty of time for both structured, instructor-led sessions and free play. The programme includes a wide range of experiences - from environment/nature-related activities outdoors and a range of sports and games (including coach-led sessions such as tennis, cardio fitness, etc) to fun academic related sessions, performance/theatre/visual arts workshops, dance and music workshops, art, design and crafts, language sessions, and much more. How much?

The day rate (9am-5pm) for the Summer Scheme is £35. In addition, parents can choose to add Early arrival (8am-9am with breakfast offered) or Late pick-up (5pm-6pm) to their booking (£3 per session or £5 for both sessions on the same day). A discount is also available if fifteen or more days are booked. Please look through the pricing page for full information.

Once you have made your booking you will be contacted by the Summer Scheme team to collect any balance of payment and take registration details. For those who make a booking, further details about the Summer Scheme will be provided.
