Tuesday 28th May – Theme: Sports Day

 

8s and under

The children will be placed in teams and take-part in a number of events during the day which include:

  • Egg and spoon race
  • Dressing-up race
  • Relay
  • Hungry hippo challenge
  • Water bucket challenge
  • Tug of war

These are just some of the activities on offer.

9s and over

The children will be placed in team and take-part in a number of events during the day:

  • Badminton tournament
  • Table tennis tournament
  • Football shoot-out challenge
  • Water balloon challenge
  • Relay
  • Tug of war

These are just some of the activities on offer.

Your child will need

[Comfortable clothing suitable for outdoors and a waterproof jacket every day, plus:]

  • Your child will need to come in suitable sports clothing and trainers.

  • A change of clothes and shoes is also essential.

     

Wednesday 29th May - Theme: Problem Solving

8s and under
  • Kite making (AM)

  • Raft building (AM)

  • Outdoor picnic lunch and games

  • Problem Solving workshop with Education Group (PM)

9s and over

Thursday 30th May- Theme:

8s and under
  • Forest School with expert Sarah from Wild Learning (AM)

  • Lunch

  • Children’s choice: friendship bracelets or slime making (PM)

  • Big outdoor bubbles (PM)

  • Create a time capsule (PM)

9s and over
  • Bulldog (AM)

  • Children’s choice: outdoor marble run or indoor Domino run (AM)

  • Lunch

  • Forest School with expert Sarah from Wild Learning (PM)

  • Big outdoor bubbles (PM)

Your child will need

  • The outdoor clothing may get dirty during Forest School.
  • A change of clothes and shoes is also essential

Friday 31st May – Theme:

8s and under 9s and over
  • Outdoor games: Traffic Lights and Birthday-Line Up (AM)

  • Character spoon making (AM)

  • Lunch

  • Lego creation and challenges with Create Build and Learn (PM)

  • Outdoor snowball war (PM)

  • Tag (PM)

  • Outdoor games: Human Knot and Trust Walk (AM)

  • Tin foil craft (AM)

  • Lunch

  • Outdoor snowball war (PM)

  • Target shootout (PM)

  • Lego creation and challenges with Create Build and Learn (PM)
