Tuesday 7 August – Theme: Falconry

All ages
Many of you will be pleased to know that the Falconry experience day is back for the second time! Hawkwise Falconry will be delivering a hands-on, interactive session that encourages all children to get involved. As well as handling owls and a hawk, the children will be learning about the birds and have an opportunity to feed them. By then end of the day, I am sure all of the children will be experts in falconry!

Friday 10 August – Theme: Performing Arts

All ages
Gemma, an expert in drama and having fun, will be joining us to create a whole play in just ONE DAY! There are plenty of opportunities for each child to take part in different aspects such as acting, directing, costume design and prop making! At the start of the day, we will begin our journey with a theme and by 4.30pm we will have a performance (we hope)! Gemma and the Holiday Scheme staff are looking forward to hearing all of the children's ideas and we are excited to support their vision for the play. All family members and friends are invited to watch the show in the Avon Drama Studio at 4.30pm!

Week 4

Monday 13 August – Theme: Community project

All ages
Warwick Arts will be working with the children all day on a project based piece. Using multimedia techniques, the children will create a large communal collage that has new layers added throughout the day! This is a brand new experience offered by the Holiday Scheme.
