Listening Skills

  Listening Skills
Who is it for? Staff who might have a need to listen to others (and themselves...) in or out of the workplace. For staff who like to listen deeper to what those around us have to say.
Content In this session you will cover:
  • What is reflective listening?
  • Barriers to Listening
  • Active Listening (Please be aware that this workshop has a experiential side to it, and you might need to share something of yourself in a confidential environment)
What will I get out of this? By the end of the session you will have gained an understanding of:
  • What stops us from listening actively
  • How to listen actively
  • How to listen in a helpful way
  • Put this into practice
