How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Writing School- Drawing your thesis

Writing School 2

Day 2 of the August Writing Schools is focussed on tidying, organising, making structures, perfecting your writing and some time with colleagues to get that writing started in a peer environment.

Drawing your thesis

Keep your reader happy. If you know where you are going with your writing, then so will your reader. But sometimes we are still stuck, not knowing where the links or our ideas relate. Drawing your thesis, and drawing your ideas will help you visualise, step back, view your research from a different perspective. A creative session to get you thinking and writing productively. A great way to start day 2.

Writing School- Get writing - dedicated writing time

Day 2 of the August Writing Schools is focussed on tidying, organising, making structures, perfecting your writing and some time with colleagues to get that writing started in a peer environment.

Session 3 No more procrastinating - start writing.

Focussed and targeted writing time - 90 minutes with supportive peers. Using the Pomodoro technique of short focussed writing, followed by 5 minute breaks, this session will get ore words on paper than you have done recently. There is also time to share hints, tips and workarounds with colleagues. A great way to move your writing forward.
