We are delighted that you have chosen to accept the offer of an Industrial EPSRC Doctoral Scholarship at the University of Warwick.

By accepting the EPSRC Doctoral Scholarship, you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions below and are bound by the Funded PGR Student Policy. and the UKRI Training Grant Terms and Conditions.
- The Industrial EPSRC Doctoral Scholarship is awarded the for the length of time noted in your offer letter and normally includes the payment of both academic fees and a stipend to the award-holder. Funding is not retrospective.
- The University’s decision over fee status will be final. By accepting the award, you are confirming that you accept your assigned fee status and are not aware of any evidence that might alter this classification. If you do not disclose such evidence and the University becomes aware of it at a later date, your award may be revoked.
- Payment of the stipend is set at the prevailing UKRI rate.
- Payment of a Researcher Training Support Grant (RTSG) is set at the rate noted by your academic department.
- Your Industrial EPSRC Doctoral Scholarship will commence on the date noted on your scholarship offer letter.
- Accommodation fees are not directly covered by the Industrial EPSRC Doctoral Scholarship. The stipend is intended to be a contribution towards your living expenses.
- As part of the Industrial EPSRC Doctoral Scholarship, you are expected to spend at least three months on the premises of the Industrial Partner associated with your project.
- You are expected to undertake both research skills and methods training, and complete either the Postgraduate Certificate in Transferrable Skills or equivalent professional and career development training in accordance with the vitae professional development framework, including in responsible research and innovation.
- You are expected to participate periodically in a range of postgraduate recruitment and community focused activities, which might include postgraduate open days; induction events; focus groups; receptions held with potential sponsors or alumni, student talks etc.
- By accepting the Industrial EPSRC Doctoral Scholarship, you authorise the University of Warwick to disclose to the Industrial Partner any information that the Industrial Partner requests regarding the progress of your studies, the submission of your thesis, and the completion of your studies.
- By accepting the Industrial EPSRC Doctoral Scholarship, you authorise The University of Warwick to disclose your contact details to the Industrial Partner. This is to allow you to receive correspondence from Industrial Partner.
