During 2019-20 the Warwick PGT Strategy Working Group is undertaking a detailed review of current PGT provision across the University, and will report to Senate in summer 2020.
The group, co-chaired by Kirsty Hooper and Rhiannon Martyn, includes representatives from academic departments, professional services and the Student Union, with wider consultations across all stakeholder groups.
Our brief is:
- to review the entire PGT student lifecycle, from recruitment to graduation, in order to identify issues, gaps, and best practice
- to propose and consult on strategic solutions to ensure that the distinctive nature of PGT study and students are recognised in the University's strategy, governance and management structures.
- to propose and consult on a strategic identity for the Warwick PGT offer and experience in dialogue with wider University strategy, as a means of focusing and enhancing recruitment, retention and reputation within the sector.
