The University is delighted to have been selected as one of nine institutions across the UK to be awarded the prestigious Wolfson Postgraduate Scholarships in the Humanities for the academic year 2019/20.
Four scholarships of £28,750 per annum will be available to PhD students applying for entry in Autumn 2019 in the areas of History, Literature, and Languages.
- Scholarships will be available at the level of £28,750 per annum for a maximum of three years
- A maintenance payment of £24,403 will be made per annum to the award holder. This sum will cover costs associated with research, travel, and training, as well as costs associated with attending events for the programme organised by the Wolfson Foundation.
- Home/EU applicants must be applying for a full-time or part-time PhD course at the University of Warwick, expecting to begin in Autumn 2019;
- Scholarships will be awarded to outstanding applicants in the areas of History, Literature and Languages. Wolfson scholarships are not eligible to students where there is a co-supervison arrangement with another institution.

Please follow the same application process as for AHRC M4C website. Candidates that are eligible will be selected and nominated for Wolfson scholarships from the M4C applications - you do not need to make a separate application or request.
