Mitigating Circumstances

In accordance with the University's policy, ongoing difficulties relating to a disability do not form grounds for mitigating circumstances, if reasonable adjustments have been implemented already to minimise the impact of those difficulties. Nevertheless, Disability Services can support students with any additional mitigating circumstances relating to a disability that has not already been addressed by reasonable adjustments and are impacting substantially on their academic engagement. Supporting evidence that is specific to those circumstances will be required and students will be asked to engage with Disability Services to discuss the impact.

You can find further information about mitigating circumstances here.

You can contact Disability Services by logging in to our online enquiry system or by emailing disability at warwick dot ac dot uk.
