Working, Learning, Living 2017 booklet available on request (PDF Version)
- Do you have family or caring responsibilities?
Do you work or learn flexibly to juggle a range of commitments?
Do you have a disability?
Would you like to share your experiences?
Inspired by the Royal Society’s Parent | Carer | Scientist project, we’ve created our own booklet to showcase how staff and students all across Warwick combine their work and home commitments.
We would love to create a revised copy of the booklet in 2018 featuring even more stories, so if you would like to be considered for future editions, please see the information below:
Maybe you care for your partner or have a disability yourself while studying or working. Perhaps you have a tale to tell about how your work/life balance has changed since adopting your child. Whatever your personal experience, we’d love for you to talk about it and help us to illustrate that Warwick is an institution which supports flexibility and diversity.
What will the booklet be used for?
The aim of the booklet is so that people considering joining the University as either a member of staff or a student will be able to find out more about who we are and what we do. We want potential newcomers to be able to read real-life stories and feel confident that Warwick is somewhere they could succeed.
Can I no longer submit my story?
We will look at reproducing the booklet annually so please Share Your Story at anytime using the link below. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion team.
