Everyone has the right to feel safe on campus. Harassment of any kind is completely unacceptable, and our community is an environment where prejudice and socially unacceptable behaviour are never tolerated.
In order to disclose a concern or incident please visit our Report and Support webpage. This can be made anonymously or with full details if you wish to speak to an advisor.
Report and Support is the University's online reporting platform that offers direct help for those affected by bullying and harassment, discrimination, hate crime and sexual misconduct.
If you are a member of staff and request to speak with an advisor, a Dignity Contact will contact you during normal working hours (9am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am - 4pm Friday). Read more about the role of a Dignity Contact here. Please note, in some circumstances a Student Liaison Officer may make initial contact with you.
If you are a student and request to speak with an advisor, a Student Liaison Officer will contact you during normal working hours (9am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am - 4pm Friday). The role of the Student Liaison Officer is to assist you in understanding the reporting options available and to support you in dealing with any impact the incident(s) has had on University life.
If a report is made anonymously, the online form will not ask for any personally identifiable details.
The University will not be able to take any direct action on anonymous reports, nor provide any direct advice.
All the information in the report will remain confidential, with anonymous reports providing statistical information, in order to inform the University’s proactive work around behaviours which do not align with our Guiding Principles.
If you would prefer to speak to someone about your reporting and support options before making this decision, please use the speak to an advisor form. Speaking to someone, does not automatically trigger a formal complaint.
