The Kindness Rocks Project aims to cultivate connections within communities and lift others up through simple acts of kindness. Join us to discuss how we can celebrate, inspire, and transform our Staff Networks whilst painting rocks with messages of kindness. You can then take the rocks back to your department and display them on your desk or share them with colleagues and help spread a message of kindness across campus.

If you,

• Are a member of one of our Staff Networks;
• Aren’t currently a member of a Staff Network but wish to find out more;
• Want to spread some kindness on campus; or
• Want to spend some time networking with colleagues.

Please note lunch will not be provided, but you are invited to bring your own. Drinks will be provided.

More about the National Day for Staff Networks

Staff Networks offer support to employees from different groups as they endeavour to navigate the processes, systems and culture that may prevent them from progressing and/or being their authentic self in the workplace. They are an effective mechanism of workforce engagement that can provide insight into unseen barriers and devise practical, creative, and commercially viable solutions to help address the systemic challenges faced by certain groups. Put simply, effective Staff Networks are making work better.

National Day for Staff Networks is a fantastic opportunity for staff networks (employee resource groups) and their organisations across different sectors in the UK workplace to participate in the nation's (and indeed the world's) only day recognising the added value of Staff Networks.
