The ED&I Team hold termly induction sessions for all new starters enabling staff to hear about the work the team do, an overview of ED&I initiatives and how you can embed this into your role. The 3-hour session is suitable for all staff at all levels and lunch will be provided.
Our guidance booklet provides a brief overview of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion here at Warwick.
We have a number of Staff Networks that are open to all staff:
- Carer's Network
- Working Parents
- We also hold a Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Network Meeting termly which is open to all staff.
Bullying and harassment is not tolerated at Warwick, the Dignity at Warwick Policy outlines unacceptable behaviours and the process for reporting and dealing with inappropriate behaviour.
Dignity Contacts are available to all staff providing support and signposting to the options avilable to you.
An Online Reporting Form enables you to request to be contacted by one of the Dignity Contacts or report your concerns anonymously.
Please note: If you are an agency worker (i.e.Unitemps) and have concerns in relation to Dignity at Warwick during your placement, please speak to your agency directly.
Legislation - Find out about the Protected Characteristics and what legislation Warwick must adhere by to protect it's staff from discrimination in the workplace.
Warwick has a wealth of training and development resources available that we recommend to all members of staff to develop your awareness of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
Academic, research active staff and those in appropriate support or administrative posts who incur extra childcare costs by attending conferences/workshops as part of their role at the University can apply for up to £150.
