Revised Per Diem Policy for travel commencing after 1 August 2018
On 26 June 2018 Finance and General Purposes Committee (FGPC) approved a Revised Per Diem Policy to be implemented for travel commencing on or after 1 August 2018.
The policy has been amended to align with other universities and also to ensure that receipts are obtained where it is feasible to do so. Financial Procedure 16 has been updated to reflect the new policy with a clear message that no exceptions will be permitted. Per diem claims for travel commencing on or before 31 July 2018 will be accepted under the current policy. Note, Per Diem claims should continue to be submitted on paper forms but a new expense type for them on Concur will be introduced in the new academic year.
