Procurement & Insurance Services Vision

To provide an accessible and professional service, maximising the value for money achieved through the University's procurement activities whilst ensuring legislative compliance, auditability and the promotion of envirnmental and social considerations. To ensure appropriate insurance cover is in place, comprehensively representing the activities of the University and supporting the broader management of risk across the institution.

Procurement & Insurance Services Activities

The activities of the Procurement & Insurance Services are broad in scope including:

  • Commodity procurement covering a wide range of goods and services
  • Procurement support for Research and Capital Equipment
  • Governance and Compliance
  • Procurement Efficiency and Systems projects – eProcurement, Purchasing Cards
  • Management of the University‚Äôs insurance portfolio

Procurement & Insurance Services Staff

Procurement & Insurance Services is led by the Head of Procurement and Insurance, Pauline Mealing. Additionally the Purchasing functions within both Warwick Food and Drink and the Estates Office have dotted line responsibility into the Head of Procurement and Insurance.

The Procurement & Insurance Services reports into the Finance Director.
